Custom hoods are an essential piece in any well designed kitchen.
Custom kitchen hood style has a wide range of looks. This plaster range hood by Cantley and Company is loved for its simplicity and elegance. No trim, no crown, no shelf — just clean lines and a small, slight Tudor-style arch. Even the embellishment is understated. A Persian runner underfoot is easy on the eyes and feet.
A hand forged steel hood features oversized decorative rivets. The metal workshop at Oak Hill Iron fabricated the embellished backsplash and copper counters as well.
Industrial components of the Mammut hood conjure images of Tyrannosaurus Rex. Designed by Minacciolo, the hood can be floor, wall or ceiling mounted. The arms rotate 360 degrees so it doesn’t have to stay fixed above the cooktop or range. The sculptural hood is a dynamic partner for the industrial Mina kitchen.
