Gilded accents dress up any table for the holidays.
Grab the metallic spray paint, clip some boxwood branches and head outside and get busy. Ten minutes later, glittering foliage – like the topiary on this super elegant holiday table – will be ready for your centerpiece. Spray some salvage candlesticks with leftover paint, stock up on ribbon and well, you get the idea. Gold has been a Christmas element since biblical times. Exceptional Root candle tapers, infused with fragrance, enhance a festive mood.
Another easy way to introduce gold accents to the holiday table is by wrapping holiday favors in gold paper and dressing up the mini-gifts with other gilt details. If you happen to own gold-rim china, ‘tis the season (and I think it’s even worth the hand-washing chores).
Even a not-so-fancy table looks dressed up by white plates with a gold Greek key border. Just the dish to pair with gold-stripe gift paper that manages to look right at home under a bright top knot of red ribbon and berries.

Both these tables are so pretty! Love the idea of favor boxes at each place setting. Love the gold! Thanks for sharing.
Love the package with the sprayed fern. The tablecloth design in the last photo becomes a modern version of poinsettias at Christmas, but suitable for summertime also – a great 4th of July tablecloth.
