Modern Closet Sliding Doors

Glass and melamine modern closet sliding doors have panels brightened by aluminum frames.

Who said closet doors have to be white?  Or boring? Or even swing. This colorful group of modern closet sliding doors from Miami’s Armadi Closets offer the sleek contemporary look for which Miami design is known.

The SD 60 doors have graphic oversized numbers on a glossy white background. The numbers shift places as the doors are opened — which looks like fun. The doors feel perfect for a minimalist office/guest bedroom like this room. Plus the black, green and turquoise provide built in accent colors for the room.

The SD6 doors use oceanic colors of jade green and turquoise set in a geometric aluminum grid. These doors coordinate well with wood paneling looks and while they add color they also can work in public spaces though a child’s room would also be a great location colorwise.

These SD 52 doors have an Asian feeling not unlike a shoji screen. They can work well in a bedroom or library and blend with woodwork. The broad dark brown melamine stripe on the doors creates a horizon line in the room and works especially well with low, modern furnishings.

A child’s room is a great place to have some fun with closet doors. True, these SD 22 sliders have such a specific design they may not age well over the long term.  However, they integrate well with the overall décor room that is gender neutral and very lively. And with bright large-scale pattern on the walls, it’s not strictly necessary to add much else. Neat and sturdy, closet sliding doors make storage spaces accessible, add color and design elements to a room, and function in the best way for the space.
