A round interior window is an architectural detail with an unexpected twist.
An amazing Azul limestone tile wall with circular window is a stunning feature in this transitional kitchen. No upper cabinets on the range wall was a no brainer. The round interior window occupies the spot where, usually, there is a hood. Keeping the clean, uncluttered look is possible in a larger kitchen where extra lower cabinets meet storage needs. The counters are also done in the same soft gray-green limestone. A neutral color palette stays interesting with the use of textured materials — reclaimed barn wood ceiling, beams and pine flooring. Oversized copper lanterns and upholstered, swivel barstools with enormous nail head trim add textural embellishments.
