TV Interior Barn Doors

tv barn doors - sliding interior barn doors cover a flat screen tv - Schmidtt+Co via AtticmagSliding tv barn doors offer a decorative and functional solution for concealing televisions.

Sliding tv barn doors offer several clever ways to camouflage the dreaded dark hole in the room (also known as the flat screen TV).  These are especially good for rustic interiors where the wall-mounted hardware systems blend into the décor. Here are two simple ideas using barn door style systems. A short version fits above the fireplace and doors easily slide out of the way.

More barn door ideas that can be redesigned for a tv — as opposed to a doorway — can be found in Interior Barn Doors and Decorative Interior Barn Doors.  Modern custom cabinets, pop-up TVlifts and opaque glass French style doors are featured in Architectural TV Cabinets and Sliding Door Closet Wall.

I love the look of barn doors too. Maybe one of these days we’ll put some in our house as they look so neat!

    Have a Happy New Year.

Love that first photo! But I love your solution, too. I actually e-mailed a link to your tv hiding panels to my SIL who also has her tv over her fireplace. I looked into the barn door hardware for a future master bath overhaul – it’s a lot of $$$ for just the hardware. Fun to look at other uses for it, though. Thanks for sharing.
