Large scale children’s room wallpaper sets the tone for sweet kid-centric decor.
Music has always held a special place in my heart so I found this musical theme children’s room wallpaper mural rather comforting. Marching children and animals parade across the staff, serenading sweet dreams. A small gray and white stripe flatweave rug, layered over carpeting, echoes the musical score and is a nice juxtaposition to the wallpaper. Marta Belo and Leonor Feijó combine their talents in architecture and photography to create unique room-size illustrations for Little Hands of Portugal. By providing measurements, each wall mural is customized for a perfect fit. They can be personalized with special characters or a theme from their portfolio. Names or phrases can also be added to the murals. The framed toddler bed is sweetly painted to coordinate with the background color of the mural and is outfitted in linen.
A shared bedroom-nursery for opposite sex siblings features Star wallpaper by Sissy and Marley. The company is a family affair, consisting of mother Diana Rice and her daughters, Chelsea Reale and Rachel Geisler. The trio enjoys creating monochromatic spaces that blend in with the rest of a home. In this adorable bedroom, the over-sized metallic stars set the tone in this grey, white and pink space. A wide stripe bold rug and fine stripe patterned sheets on the Oeuf toddler bed add more graphic punch. Retro-style cut-outs adorn the modern double wall sconces by Jonathan Adler. Artwork featuring a single gray elephant pierces the star-spangled accent wall, while a pair of star shaped pillows rest below. Charming but neutral, this decor can be easily updated as the children grow.
