Aren’t we always looking for kitchen design ideas that will make our day-to-day lives easier?  It’s double the pleasure when the outcome is attractive.  Instead of struggling with dark, hard to reach corner cabinets, install open shelving.  These floating stainless steel shelves solve the dead space dilemma and are just the spot to to display your everyday lovelies.

There is always the need for more counter space in a “cozy” kitchen.  And white “safety first” is of the utmost importance, t a primitive wooden stovetop cover could be the solution.  Essentially it’s a three-sided tray that sits on the stove. With stove knob placement at the back (or the front with a range top), there is little danger of accidentally bumping or tiny fingers turning them on.  The tray provides prepping space or more room for a buffet.  Handle cut-outs make it easy to move.  It could also be used over a front load washer or dryer to create a more decorative look or portability.
