Apple green kitchen cabinets brighten up this year round beach residence while avoiding the usual coastal influence. This kitchen looks more urban than beach-like. Cabinets rise to the occasion, and in this case to a Mondrian inspired ceiling with an uneven grid painted with accent colors. Uppers are found resting on the corner counter making this usually awkward area more functional while not losing much counter space. Etched glass-front upper cabinet doors feature letters, which are a fun surprise. A stainless steel range and unpretentious canopy hood blend seamlessly with the backsplash without distracting from the cabinetry design. Vibrant red windows and French doors used in this open concept floor plan are echoed in the table and chairs. Even the coffeemaker repeats this punch of color.
