A favored purchase of DD2′s for her home was a reproduction French wine tasting table.  It’s small in size, but big in character – raw, aged oak with hand joinery.  She’s currently using it as a living room side table, but it would also function nicely as a bedside table.   A larger, dark antique version [top] grounds this all white kitchen.
