A salvaged marine steel ball is repurposed into functional kitchen art.
When sculptural artist Peter Reiquam and his wife became empty nesters, he designed a modern house with industrial aesthetic – but Reiquam didn’t stop at the front door. For their kitchen, he cleverly readapted a steel buoy by fabricating a butcher block topped work table. The piece is easily rolled on the polished concrete floor for maximum intrigue. Why? Why not?!
