Reclaimed materials are the key ingredient in this recipe for success.
DD2 is in the midst of a master bath redesign, and during our immense search for the perfect double vanity I ran across these unique worktables. I’m a huge fan of furniture-style pieces in the kitchen and their slatted shelves are icing on the cake. The Barles [above] and Bocca [below] are handcrafted from solid pine salvaged from old buildings. Each plank is sanded by hand and left unfinished for a rustic look. Stone counters and bin pulls finish these Belgian inspired pieces. I can’t help but notice the similarities between the finish on the Bocca and casegoods sold by Restoration Hardware. Be sure to check out the rest of Teva Living’s website for more wonderful pieces.

These are delicious – but why does any mention of RH make me cross? I’ll just go to Teva Living!
;D Tricia. It is in a way sad that many of us will (always?) associate lighter wood with RH – it’s been around long before RH filled every catalog page with the look. But then, maybe it’s just if the style is similar. DD2 has a light color wood sideboard that doesn’t bring RH to mind. I don’t mean to sound so anti-RH, because a piece here or there is fine. It’s just an entire room or house is way to much visually for me.
I love the idea of using these in a bath.
I love both of these pieces, but still itch to finish or paint them.
