Golden Fantasy Bath

painted clawfoot tub bathroom with intricate mirror and tile wainscot Luxurious accessories complete this amazing retreat.

Oh. My.  Where do I start?  I’ve always had a thing for clawfoot tubs, and this bath is visually stunning – a dream space.  From the warm colors to the textures and antiques, it’s luxury all around.  The tub exterior, including the ornate ball and claw feet, is a flat clay color.  Draped over the side is a beautiful woven linen fringed towel with embroidery and hand-knotted fringe.  The tile wainscot introduces black with larger tiles than normally seen on walls.  An over-sized mirror features a grapevine motif, a nod to the nearby Italian wine region.  Equally unique is the exquisite shaving stand, which holds its own with its intricate design base and triple mirror.

Another luxurious space not to be missed is the Lavender Fantasy Bath.

Love the tub, but the whole room is just a bit too gilded, fancy for me.

I agree- I ADORE the overlapping of the mirror and tiles. It looks layered and casual. Tres Chic!
