Mid-Century Modern Chair

mid century modern kartell master chairA new chair design destined to become an icon.

Designed for Kartell by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, the Masters chair melds together three iconic mid-century modern designs – the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames and the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen.  The Masters’ silhouette is characterized by its crisscrossing lines of three different backs, each melting into the edge of the seat which rests on slim legs.  Light and stackable, these polycarbonate chairs can be used indoors and outside.  They are available in seven colors – black, white, grey, mustard, rusty red and sage green.  With a starting price just over $200, the Masters chair is affordable eye candy.
