Owner Katie Ernst finds vintage 1940′s to 70′s furniture and accessories at estate sales and antique fairs and reinvests them with a little elbow grease. During her buying trips for her Chicago store, the former television news producer discovered this mid-century-modern lounger, which was updated with a coat of black lacquer on the frame and a large pattern Marimekko fabric.

The Chicago store hosts quarterly sales to the public and, in between sales, offers shopping online or by appointment.
