Halloween Table Decorating Ideas
By Allison ~ October 28th, 2009. Filed under: Allison Shops, Décor.

No tricks, only treats this week for Halloween. There are so many fun decorating items, it’s hard not to get carried away! I like the way the classic checkerboard edge on this serving plate will peak out from under a stack of homemade cookies. As guests help themselves, the vintage Halloween scene will be revealed.

Paper pulp figures arranged on the table are a great start for a centerpiece. Mix in miniature pumpkins and sunflowers or mums, adding a little Spanish moss for a more ghoulish effect.

A little touch can make a big impression. Slip spider web wrappers onto your favorite cupcakes or candy filled cups. Cake wrap strips will add a festive touch to a cake stand, or use it as shelf or mirror edging. No bones about it, skeletons are a quintessential Halloween decor item and flickering pillar candles are always a nice touch.

I really like those spider & web wrappers! Not sure why, as those big field spiders are one of my least favorite things.
