The term kitchen rug usually conjures up images of the inexpensive machine made variety sporting a kitchen related motif. But ask any rug collector if they have a fine hand knotted Oriental carpet in their kitchen and they may appear puzzled by the question. It doesn’t take long for the rug obsessed to discover that not only does the kitchen offer extra floor space to display their treasures, but a good wool rug is durable and naturally stain resistant, not to mention the charm and warmth a rug will bring to the room, as seen in these images.
