Counter materials like wood and laminates work best with drop-in sinks.
Traditional drop-in sinks are generally out of favor for high-end kitchens because they have a border that sits on the counter which impedes movement directly into the sink bowl. However, natural wood counters and laminates often work best with drop-ins and the most handsome one we know is the sculptural Verve, which has a distinctive, contemporary look.
First cousin to the Verve is another stainless steel drop in — the Verity — which has a chunky high collar (not to be confused with a farm sink variation in the same line).
